Is Adam Lambert…Jewish?

Everyone's wondering about American Idol finalist Adam Lambert, is he gay, is he not gay. Who cares? They should focus on the real important issue – is he Jewish?

In this footage, Adam Lambert sings Shir LaShalom (Song for Peace) in Hebrew with Israeli performers, as a tribute to Yizhak Rabin, our legendary Prime minister who was assassinated in 1995.

I'm really impressed with Adam Lambert's skills in Hebrew. Jewish or not, Adam is a gifted singer, I'm rooting for him (and Matt)!

    Does anyone know if this mega talented guy is in fact Jewish ? Didn't anyone go to hebrew school or go to his bar mitzvah? C'mon......tell us!

    An Israeli newspaper did a piece on Adam as being Jewish and singing at the Rabin memorial service - why else would he do that? He's a very talented singer and he does not look gay to me , just very unique ,hopefully he will be the "chosen one" in amercian idol though ;)

    And for those who can read Hebrew, Sharon Farber (who arranged that performance) posted in Maariv's website saying Adam was jewish

    Hi everyone! according to Israeli newspapers, Adam is in fact Jewish.However,I know nothing about a Bar Mitzvah..

    If he is gay then I hope that it will do some justice to gay rights in America and open people's mind. Hey, an Afircan-American president and a gay/Jewish idol - a great year for minorities!

    I think Adam is a phenomenal singer and entertainer. I am quite concerned about the vote however, since homophobia is so rampant and ingrained in this "American Psyche". What a shame if he doesnt win since he is obviously the much better singer and talent. But unfortunately, if he doesnt win, it will be because he is a gay American who is discriminated against. If the country knew he was a Jew, he would have zero percent chance at winning since he is already whammed out because of his G_d given gayness. The truth hurts huh?

    a friend of mine just told me that Adam is jewish, and trust me he knows all the unknown jews such as David Letterman .. and that's why i googled this site .. and his hebrew abilities are great .. and he looks great .
